데보라 펠드먼(Deborah Feldman)의 회고록 <Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots (언오소독스: 밖으로 나온 아이)>속 실화를 바탕으로 넷플릭스에서 제작한 다큐 드라마인데 다소 충격적이다.
<Unorthodox(그리고 베를린에서)>는 극정통파 유대교인 하시디즘 공동체에서 살아가던 한 젊은 여성이 그 공동체를 탈출해서 베를린에서 정착을 시도하는 여정을 그리고 있다.
미국 뉴욕 브루클린에 윌리암스버그에 있는 유대인 집단 공동체인 사트마(Satmar)에서 삶을 표현한 에스티(Esty) 역의 Shira Haas의 연기가 돋보인다.
